I have just received a questionnaire from you and suddenly realised I had not written to thank you for all you did in the selling of my house.
I came back to the UK to sell my house expecting many weeks if not months of stress in the process of selling and found that it was almost a pleasant experience.
AJ, every time there was a hiccup I was one step behind you, you had sorted the problem out before I fully realised what the problem was and I am very very thankful for your kindness and professionalism.
Unfortunately as I do not live in the UK. I cannot recommend your agency to anyone but I would always be happy to write a recommendation if one was ever needed.
I have bought a lovely house in White River with the proceeds of the sale of my UK house and if you are ever in S.A. you would be very welcome to stay with my family.

The service we received from AJ was superb.
Yes we received regular feedback, and yes we were kept up to date on progress, but this does not constitute good service alone.
AJ readily became a key member of the property’s development, presenting valuable marketing advice and procuring assistance whenever needed. He took on task with vigour of a sole agent despite being part of a multiple agency and despite our reluctance to go with Ashley Charles from the start. He never spouted ‘what the seller wants to hear’ but maintained an independent professional standing from which we felt far more assured. Last, but most importantly, AJ had to maintain his resolve when we were up against a low surveyor’s valuation (from a previous and failed purchase attempt) and when prices began to fall. This he did very successfully and on this basis, I would recommend him without reservation and can do so having had first hand experience of the other Reading agencies; Parkers, Mann and Romans.
The reasons why we didn't go with Ashley Charles from the start were that I felt AJ's valuation to be just a little too high and that I felt the agency was too Internet based for the type of property involved.

Feedback has been good, with the use of e-mail to create efficient communication.
We have always felt up to date from the Estate Agent perspective (not from others!)
We have appreciated the time AJ spent on our return viewings and did not feel pressured into being quick.

The website was a great asset to display photo’s room by room, etc and to help re-view the house at home.

This was the first time we dealt with your company, and on the service we received, it will not be the last. Throughout our dealings A.J. was our main point of contact, and I cannot speak highly enough of him.
